Impala - Black
The rare black Impala is not a subspecies of the common Impala, but a colour variation developed by selective breeding. Their entire body is black and only the males have horns. Like the common Impala, the black Impala is found in open woodland where there is sufficient water. They can also be found in denser woodland along rivers and on the edge of grass veld or flood plains.
